We share practical coaching skills to help managers do their work with a coach approach.  In the end, a manager/coach will help enhance fulfillment, sustainability and success within the organization. They'll learn to create a positive work environment and build a high performing team.

 

 

The distinctions between that of a manager and a manager/coach are many. As an example, a manager/coach does not stand in the perspective of directive, command and control model of management. They recognize this model of managing is ineffective, time consuming and detrimental to employee's spirits.

 

The manager as coach believes is the pure potential of people and helps them grow and learn to reach their potential within the organization. This frees up the energy of the manager from unnecessary repetitive process decision making, sole responsibility and accountability, and leaves room for the manager as coach to take time to building relationships based on a foundation of deep listening, truth telling, authenticity and congruence in their relationships with others.

 

The manager becomes more open, authentic, empathetic, patient and congruent as they increase their self awareness; communicate with compassion so they can better optimize time, energy and resources.
